Super 7 made a rad Thrilla Krew ReAction figure and I took it to the beach to try and make it look like it was catching some tasty waves. Thrilla got barreled, made some nice turns and some got some solid floaters in. I loved surfing with Thrilla Gorilla in the NES video game T&C Surf Designs: Wood & Water Rage as a kid, so this was a fun little photoshoot the beach.

How did I create these photos?

This is my second attempt at trying to make it look like toys are surfing. For This attempt I simply had Thrilla Gorilla attacked to a metal rod shoved into the sand and toop about 250 photos. Out of those photos about 10 of them looked like he was surfing. Since I surf muself I really wanted to make it look like he was doing things on a surfboard actual surfers do. You can see my first attempt at this where I had a friend hold a TMNT above the waves and this process was much easier.
