Community brick by brick
BrickPolandTeam is a creative community of LEGO photographers from across Poland, united by the belief that bricks can be more than just toys—they can be a medium for true art and storytelling. What began with a few shared photos on Instagram has grown into a space for collaboration, inspiration, and support. Together, the group explores a wide range of themes, from epic battles to intimate, everyday scenes, always proving that with LEGO you can build not only models, but also connections, stories, and lasting friendships.
Meet the team!
Paweł – creator of Brick Poland Team
Paweł “pablo_afol” Cząstkiewicz – LEGO photographer, creator of unique custom minifigures, and a fan of dark, eerie stories. He has long been fascinated by the atmosphere of horror—from classic cinema, through comics and literature, all the way to his own LEGO photo scenes. His shots often resemble stills from horror movies, only in miniature. Outside of photography, he’s a proud dad to a 5-year-old daughter, with whom he shares his love for bricks and creative storytelling.
It all started… with just a few LEGO photos posted on Instagram. A handful of enthusiasts, scattered across Poland, began following each other, commenting, and exchanging ideas. What united us was a simple truth—we didn’t see LEGO as just a toy, but as a tool for creating real photographic art.
At some point, a thought crossed my mind: “What if we joined forces?” And that’s how BrickPolandTeam was born—a community of Polish LEGO photographers who decided to collaborate, inspire one another, and grow together.

From the very beginning, the group’s goal was more than just posting nice pictures. It was about building bridges between creators, sharing experiences, working on joint projects, and—most importantly—having fun in the process. After all, LEGO is about play, and play is best enjoyed in good company.

Today, BrickPolandTeam is a creative crew of people with different styles and ideas, but one shared passion. Their photos cover everything—from epic knightly battles, to everyday moments of minifigures, to nostalgic frames that take us straight back to the world of childhood imagination.
Because BrickPolandTeam is not just about bricks.
It’s about stories told through tiny scenes.
It’s about passion that brings people together, regardless of age.
It’s proof that with LEGO you can build not only models… but also a real community.
Adrian
I’m Adrian. My brick-building adventure began back in 2018 with a Harry Potter minifigure. That’s also when I created my Instagram account, which was supposed to be all about the Wizarding World — but then the bricks took over. Since then, LEGO has become my escape from everyday life.

In my creations, I don’t stick to any specific theme or universe. I love crafting crazy little stories to go with my LEGO photos, mixing minifigure parts and making my own characters.

In real life, I’m a dad to two amazing kids, and one day I’ll give them everything I have… then go live in the forest as a hermit 😉
If you want to see my photos and the stories behind them, come check out “mugol_in_bricks”.

So, from the very beginning of having an Instagram account, around 2015, I started following @minifiguresadventures, and I was really impressed by the idea behind that profile. Through a Facebook group, I also came across Tomek Skog, and I found his Instagram a bit later. In August 2022, while on vacation in a mountain cabin, I thought I could also photograph such interesting minifigure stories—especially since I’ve always enjoyed photography and art. I decided to combine that with my love for LEGO.

My profile and photography are mainly monochromatic works, mostly related to pop culture titles such as Star Wars, Marvel, Harry Potter, The Lord of the Rings, and other worlds of fantasy and sci-fi.+

@czekomatka is the place where Lego comes alive, comics whisper secrets, and the camera is always ready for any brick invasion! If you’re looking for a creative dose of plastic and pop culture, you’ve come to the right place. Get ready for a journey through worlds built from imagination (and thousands of tiny elements!)

Paulina
Hi, I’m Paulina, and I’ve been photographing LEGO for a year now. I’ve always loved creating stories, and coming back to the bricks has allowed me to visualize them and capture them in photos (and also unwind a little in the process). For me, it’s more than just a hobby—it’s a reminder of how powerful imagination can be when you have the right tools, motivation, and at least a little bit of time.

Patryk
Hey everyone! I’m Patryk, known on Instagram as PG BRICKS PHOTOGRAPHY! Photography has been my passion for over 20 years. My camera accompanied me everywhere—whether on school trips or hanging out with friends, it was always by my side. I worked with studio, sports, modeling, and commercial photography. For most of that time, I shot with a digital SLR and film cameras. After the pandemic, everything turned 180 degrees, and since then, I’ve been taking photos with my phone.

My LEGO photography started with a magazine that came with a single minifigure. Gradually, my collection grew to several hundred minifigures and quite a lot of bricks, which allow me to build different constructions and scenes needed for photos. Mobile photography has developed a lot, so I want to show others that you don’t need fancy photo equipment or a professional studio. All you need is a phone, some lighting, a bit of free space, and imagination to create a cool picture.
I draw inspiration for my photos from everyday life, but also from movies, books, or simply whatever pops into my head.

I took my first photo of minifigures in 2015. Bringing life into plastic toys through the photograpy was something exciting for me, even if I didn’t know at all how to deal with manual settings of a camera. Nevertheless minifigure fotoshooting is not only about the technical things. It’s mainly about the light, imagination, a catchy idea and a pinch of practical effects that make the scenes unique and alive. I believe that those are the key factors that attract people to Minifigures adventures’ community, making them active and engaged followers.

Patryk
In my work, I focus primarily on The Lord of the Rings theme. I recreate movie scenes in LEGO form and create memes related to this universe. All of my photos are taken with a phone — I had never done photography before, so the whole adventure began quite spontaneously.

Four years ago, I started an Instagram account simply to share my LEGO Lord of the Rings collection. However, I quickly realized that I wanted to show something more, so I began bringing my minifigures to life by placing them in specific scenes. That’s how my journey with LEGO photography began, along with learning many new skills I needed to achieve the results I was aiming for. Of course, this process is still ongoing — and will continue.

My photos combine photography with post-editing effects to make the final image resemble the original scenes as closely as possible. Over time, memes have also become an important part of my creative work — combining LEGO photography with humor that Lord of the Rings fans will recognize and appreciate.
Patryk [the creator of our badass logo]
My name is Patryk, but most people know me as Edgy_Mando.
I’m from Łódź, Poland, and proudly a child of the ’90s. By day, I work as a graphic designer and in my free time, I’m a full-on LEGO enthusiast. LEGO was my favorite toy growing up – my grandfather gave me my very first sets and sparked what became a lifelong passion for the brick.

In my gallery, you’ll find photos covering a wide range of themes, though these days I especially enjoy capturing City residents, Castle stories and Pirate adventures.
All of my photos are taken at home, where I feel the most creative freedom. My setup is simple – a phone camera Xiaomi Mi Note 10, a tripod and a few LED lights. I use Lightroom to fine-tune colors and Photoshop for light retouching, always aiming to keep my photos looking as natural as possible.

Tomek
I started my LEGO photography journey over 11 years ago, completely by accident [you can read more about it in a Feature Friday article about my work]. Over the years, my LEGO collection has grown, I’ve learned a few things, and I’ve met a ton of amazing people—including our Brick Poland Team group!

I would never have thought that thanks to toy photography I would meet a lot of great people from all over the world, become a part of fantastic community, work with communities such as Brick Central or Stuck In Plastic, to finally join the great team of Toy Photographers blog and become an ambassador of this community in dealing with LEGO. I would never have thought that my photos would appear in print in the Brick Journal and that together with this magazine we would be working on a feature, which will highlight toy photographers on the BrickJournal website. Life can surprise you!

I think what I like most about taking LEGO photos is creating tiny worlds, either with bricks or in nature. Over the years, I also liked playing with light. Searching for the best lighting for a given scene gives me at least as much fun as searching for the perfect angle.
