Each spring flowers bloom, bumblebees appear, and the sunshine comes out to brighten up our day again. This also allows us toy photographers to get creative and capture some unique photos. We gathered some of our staff’s spring photos to get the creative juices going and would love to showcase your spring toy photos too. For a chance at a feature tag your photos with #tp_springphotos on Instagram, Threads, and/or our MeWe group!

Capturing photos of cherry blossoms is a part of my day job in Seattle each spring. Now that I keep a few toys in my photo bag I have started to capture some toy photos in the pink s petals like the photo of Spider-Gwen and Bumblebee above and Goku below.

I’m currently working on a series of images loosely based on the four seasons of Chip and Dale. I would be remiss if I didn’t capture them enjoying a glorious spring day. Recently in Seattle, we expereinced a brief sunny spell which I took advantage of. As soon as the weather turned sunny, I gathered my toys and spent a glorious afternoon photographing that heady feeling that can only be felt on a rare sunny spring day in Seattle!

“As cherry blossoms adorn the branches, they remind us that even the simplest moments can be filled with extraordinary beauty.”

I dug out my unravel figure I made again to take advantage of my blossom tree in full bloom.

I have been capturing photos of the samurai rabbit Usagi Yojimbo and had this Spring/Easter idea in my head and made it happen. Usagi, created by Stan Sakai, has been one of my all-time favorite characters said he made an appearance in TMNT in the 1990s. I plan on creating a stop-motion animation with these NECA action figures in the coming months, so stay tuned.
