I wish I had my very own mech armor and that’s mostly likely why the War Machine Mech Armor is my fourth LEGO mech. These types of sets are always fun to build and capture photos. Let’s dive in!

About this LEGO set

For under $15 this is a pretty rad LEGO set. The 154-piece LEGO successfully captures War Machine’s mech identity in a compact, sturdy, and character-driven model. The LEGO War Machine Mech Armor set is a fantastic addition to any Marvel or LEGO fan’s collection. Packed with playability and cool design elements, it offers a satisfying build that brings one of the MCU’s most underrated heroes into the spotlight. With its chunky armored limbs, shoulder-mounted cannon, and detailed War Machine minifigure cockpit, the set captures the raw power and tactical edge of James Rhodes’ mech suit.

The LEGO Minifigure

This LEGO set includes an exclusive Colonel James “Rhodey” Rhodes minifigure with a newly printed torso, legs, and helmet, which flips up to reveal a smirking face. The helmet can be removed, revealing alternate hair as well.

Taking Photos Of LEGO War Machine Mech Armor

This set might be small and simple, but it does make for some great photos. I also messed around and created a stop-motion animation out of it and had the War Machine battle with a Sentinel from the X-Men mansion set. If you like robots and are still irritated it’s 2025 and we don’t have robots to walk around in and/or super space suits, then this LEGO set might be a lot of fun for you!
