Samurai Jack follows a noble samurai who is flung into a dystopian future by the evil sorcerer, Aku. Determined to return to his own time and defeat Aku, Jack embarks on an epic journey filled with treacherous battles, unusual allies, and the timeless struggle between good and evil. I always loved the music and animation style of the cartoon Samurai Jack and always wish there was an action figure of him. Well, thanks to Mezco Toys it exists! I bought one from BigBadToyStore and ventured out to capture some photos with Jack amongst all the spring colors.

This photo series was inspired by the Zen Buddhist proverb: Before enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. After enlightenment; chop wood, carry water. Jack starts out in a moment of peace, goes to battle, and then is back in the same place.
