Luis C, aka @luis_castanon_67, just wrapped up one of Shelly Corbett’s Storytelling Photography Workshops for advanced toy photographers interested in employing all their story skills in one workshop. Luis captured some photos of one of our favorite characters, Spider-Man, which you can see below!
I’ve always been a huge fan of Spider-Man. Now that I’ve had the chance to work with these action figures while in Shelly Corbett’s Storytelling workshop, my workflow and understanding of toy photography have reached an interesting level. I enjoy challenging myself to create photographs without any post-production. Besides technical challenges, I’m trying to tell a story and use props effectively, and now I’m even making my own dioramas. I’m really thankful for all the input that I received through Shelly’s workshops. The participation of all my classmates has been amazing. You’re taking me to the next level in toy photography. I’m also inspired to start creating some LEGO toy photos. I know this will be a challenge on a whole different level.
