Welcome to the Toy Photographers MeWe Bingo Challenge. Its a new year, new contest with all new prompts! Again, we’re offering a Lensbaby lens of your choice (approximately a $300 value) to the randomly chosen winner. If we can, we will be adding to the prize pack as the year progresses. So stay tuned for further announcements.

The Prompts

Like 2023, you will need to create 23 photos (plus one free space) for a total of 24 images based on specific prompts. Deadline to be entered into the random drawing is December 31st, 2024. We offer up this challenge to help our fellow toy photographers keep the creative juices flowing all year long!

Our crack team of past participants have created a new list of prompts to inspire you! All prompts are to be interpreted as the artist see’s fit. There are no ‘rules’ on how to interpret the prompts. With a technical challenges such as “high key” or “golden ratio” you will need to adhere to accepted standards and practices.

Like all our photo challenges, we encourage you to interpret these prompts creatively by thinking both outside and inside the box. There are no rules for the images, only creative solutions!

Of course we will continue to run our monthly challenges in the MeWe community. With a little creativity many of the prompts can be incorporated into your regular photo challenges. Of course, there is no pressure. We encourage you to work at your own pace. Feel free to share any completed images in the MeWe community throughout the year.

Prizes!

There will be prizes for the MeWe 2024 Bingo Challenge. We will be working again with Lensbaby to bring our random winner a free lens of their choice (an approximate $300 value). World wide shipping is included, while duties and tariffs are the responsibility of the winner.

We are exploring options to add to the prize pool this year. So please stay tuned for announcements throughout the year as we find additional sponsors for the challenge.

Everyone in the MeWe community is eligible, including the moderators for these prizes. I will choose the winner by random drawing on a public Zoom call in early January 2025.

The Fine Print

  • You must be 18 years or older to enter
  • You must be an active member of the MeWe community
  • To be an active member simply post at least twice a month plus like and comment on other members posts
  • All images must be tagged #ToyPhotographersBingo2024
  • We encourage you to share your images outside the MeWe community, simply tag them #ToyPhotographersBingo2024
  • Images created for this challenge will be eligible for a feature on our Instagram feed
  • Deadline for entry is midnight December 31st, 2024.
  • Winners will be announced during a public Zoom hangout for anyone who would like to attend. Date and time TBD.
  • Any customs or tariffs due at port of entry will be the responsibility of the winner.

This contest is our way of thanking our loyal community members. But it is also a way for you to stay creatively motivated throughout the year. We value all our members and the part your play to make everyone feel welcomed and valued.

So grab a friend, grab your toys and get started! We want to see how you interpret our latest prompts. Im most intrigued by The Path Forward and The Faceless Portrait. Im sure however you interpret the prompts, you photo will be amazing!
