Happiness is a butterfly, which when pursued, is always just beyond your grasp, but which, if you will sit down quietly, may alight upon you. – Nathaniel Hawthorne

So many pretty photos here! I think the second to last is my absolute favourite! I love the idea of chasing the butterfly through the sunset!
Thank you Lizzi! I appreciate the comment. I was thinking of ending with the Unicorn on the ladder image I posted somewhere earlier. But the coloring didn’t work in the series and this quote required a different final photo. I was looking for a different image the other day and found another great photo with these two under a pink umbrella in the rain! So many photos I couldn’t make work in this series. Oh well. 🙂
By the way, you should create one too!!
Beautiful series of photos Shelly! I love them all but the third one, where she appears to be leaping through the grass, really catches my eye. The lighting is gorgeous on all of them! I also love that the photos work so well with the quote…..

Thanks Lynn! The inspiration for that one came from a random thought: If she has wings, why is she always running? 😀
Believe it or not the quote came after the images. I didn’t know how to end it. It seems they were meant for each other.
Thanks again my friend!
