I call this series of images “The origin of Earthworm Jim” as it’s my take on the story of how Earthworm Jim comes by his power suit. The character of Earthworm Jim is from the classic side scrolling platform video game from the 90’s. The video game eventually became a television series.

Jim was a typical worm that was always being attacked by crows. Suddenly an “alien bio suit” falls from the sky onto Jim and he merges with the suit to become a super worm. The suit allows him to and take on super villains such as Dr. Monkey-for-a-Head, Psy-crow and Evil the cat. 

I loved this game and played it on my super Nintendo since near the beginning. To be able to get an action figure based on this character is a dream come true!  – Mark
