I’m a poet living in Australia. I have come to toy photography as a natural confluence of my work as a poet, my lifelong love of action figures, the rise of smartphone cameras and my interest in how these things can be used to tell intimate and personal stories about the imagined lives of fantastical beings.
I like to use natural light and outdoor settings in my photography, letting the small size of my toys encourage me to reimagine my environment in terms of its texture and shape when messing around with its sense of scale.
I’ve written a few blog posts for ToyPhotographers.com, and am looking forward to writing more, but my main contribution to the community involves helping out with our Instagram, Facebook and Twitter accounts. Come and follow us!
