Suites: The whole project is based on the idea that every detective story consists of stereotypical elements (think of the client who walks into the office while the detective is drinking breakfast). So you basically tell the story by using these elements, slightly modifying them and combining and recombining them. Of course you can also add new elements to make the story more interesting.
With the Noir Suites, I seek to translate this basic idea of using ‘action elements’ into sequences of three pictures each, which then can be combined to form larger stories. The two elements (or suites) shown here add to my narrative. They are a direct sequel to Noir Suites and Noir Suites II, and a prequel to Noir Suites III.

I am constantly blown away by these narratives! Noir is one of the hardest things to nail down well, but you do it every time!
